I grew up on the coast of South Carolina, and was blessed to be a part of an animal- loving family. My father would bring stray dogs and cats home, and because of my interactions with these animals, I knew from an early age that I had a gift for touch and for helping other creatures to feel calm. It wasn't until I studied massage as an adult that I remembered my childhood certainty, and I began to understand that my calling was to be a healer. My teachers taught me to cultivate a heightened since of presence, to move slowly, to listen with my hands, and to honor the innate wisdom of the body. But most importantly, they gave me the opportunity to discover that there is no greater joy for any person than to help others by doing what one is called to do.
Since then, I have helped countless people to heal, and have continued to follow an insatiable desire to learn, accumulating over a 1,500 hours of education, and many hours of hands-on experience. I am proficient in Esalen® Massage, Deep Tissue and Therapeutic modalities, Ace Massage Cupping™, and Ashiatsu Bar Therapy. My journey of learning and healing has taken me from Bali Indonesia to Asheville NC, and finally here to beautiful Eagle, CO. Through my current studies, I am working to advance a lifelong practice of Lay herbalism to a Professional level, and have begun integrate herbalism into my practice by using hand--infused herbal products.
It is my belief that the deepest healing for human beings happens when we renew our connection with the natural world, and restore the Wild Soul's yearning to assume its rightful place as an intricate part of the mysterious universe. While the path to creating this connection is not always clear, I do know that it just might begin with a moment of stillness, a connection with another Soul, and the simple laying on of hands.
